Elliot Maza is a seasoned life science entrepreneur, attorney, and financial strategist with decades of experience in biotechnology, law, and investment banking. Currently, he serves as a senior adviser to a pharmaceutical and med-tech company, where he counsels the CEO on growth strategy, investor relations, M&A, licensing, and more.

Elliot’s professional path has taken him from the legal world at Sullivan & Cromwell, to the fast-paced world of Wall Street at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan, and ultimately to the biotech industry, where he has served as CEO, CFO, and Board Member for multiple public and private companies. His leadership roles include Immune Pharmaceuticals, Intellect Neurosciences, Biozone Pharmaceuticals, and Emisphere Technologies. He also spent time as a Partner in Transaction Advisory at Ernst & Young.

A graduate of Touro College (B.S. in Accounting) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D.), Elliot is a registered attorney and licensed CPA (inactive) in New York and New Jersey.

But beyond his resume, Elliot is also the proud nephew of legendary comedian Jackie Mason. Growing up in the shadow of a cultural icon taught him invaluable lessons about persistence, identity, and the power of humor in hard times.
